Event: Jubilate - Showcase

Description: Winchester BID have joined forces with the Guildhall Winchester and The University of Winchester to present a truly community spirited weekend overflowing with entertainment, interactive workshops, food and drink and a double-dose of affordable, old fashioned fun! Artists, musicians, magicians, comedians, actors and dancers of all ages and from all areas of the Winchester District will come together for 48 hours to give the community an opportunity to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee in style. A showcase with a difference will get the party started on Saturday evening and Sunday will bring a mass celebration in the streets of Winchester. There are some spaces available for performers for both events, but get in quick because they will fill up fast! Get involved and be part of the Winchester 2012 legacy. If you want to be involved then please apply by sending a brief description and a recorded example of you work (video, MP3, photograph) to jubilatewinchester@gmail.com The only conditions are that you are local to the Winchester District and that your act is appropriate for a family audience. This is about celebrating and showing off what we have, right here in our very own District.
