BID RESULTS
Winchester's businesses have voted in favour to fund another 5 years of the Business Improvement District (BID). The overall result was 72% in favour by number of businesses, 83.5% in favour by rateable value with the turnout at 44%. Many thanks to all who voted.

About Winchester Bid
Winchester Business Improvement District (BID) is a private not for profit company, set up and funded by Winchester's business community.
We are currently in our 5th year of our first term. During September and October 2012, BID Members will be given the opportunity to vote for a second BID term.

A key target for Winchester BID is to increase footfall and usage of the city centre. The BID fund 7 footfall monitors within the city centre to measure footfall 365 days of the year 24 hours a day. This data is now collected on a daily basis via the BID website and the data updated every night so BID members can track footfall vs. last week’s figures.
