Welcome to the Winchester Business Improvement District (BID)

With the introduction of the Business Improvement District (BID) Scheme in 2008 Winchester City Centre Partnership is the delivery vehicle for the BID budget and aims. The BID is funded by 836 local organisations within Winchester City Centre paying a 1.5% levy on top of their business rates. The BID will operate for the maximum allowable term of 5 years commencing on 1st April 2008 and ending 31st March 2013. An independent management board of up to 15 non-executive directors control the company, BID activities and funds.

   Winchester Business 

    Centre

Winchester Business CentreWinchester Business Centre provides a helping hand for businesses throughout the district, from budding entrepreneurs to long established companies. Services include flexible meeting space, from an informal open-plan office space to a formal boardroom setting accommodation up to 12 people. Self-service printing, photocopying, scanning, fax facilities and free wireless internet access are available.

The centre is open between 9.30am and 4.30pm, Tuesday to Thursday, and it is also available outside these times by appointment. The North Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Winchester Business Improvement District are based in the centre and are responsible for the day-to-day running of services.
